At Covington Catholic we are very thankful for all of the veterans who have selflessly served their country in our military forces. We are especially proud of the many veterans who had previously walked the halls of Cov Cath through the years. Since our school began educating young men in the Diocese of Covington, first as the St. Joseph Commercial School and later as Covington Catholic High School, nearly 600 of our graduates have gone on to serve the United States in the branches of the military. Our alumni also includes multiple graduates who have gone on to attend the Federal Service Academies in the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, the United States Air Force Academy, and the United States Coast Guard Academy. The Covington Catholic Community takes great pride in the fact that our high school has been represented by our graduates in every branch of the US military, and that our graduates have seen active duty in every major US military conflict since the First World War.
We also solemnly remember the lives of our 17 alumni who died in action or on active duty in service of our country. Their names are listed in our register below in bold red text, and you can read more about them HERE.
Our register of exactly which graduates have served in the military is, unfortunately, not entirely complete. Our records for our alumni's lives after graduation are almost completely dependent on how updated they keep us once they have graduated. In the interest of continuing to track of all our military alumni, as well as updating what information we have on our alumni whom we already know have served, please take a moment to scroll to the bottom of the page and share with us if you are among our Covington Catholic military alumni, if you know or are related to one of our military alumni, or if you have any additional information on the military careers of any of our alumni.
